The Hamilton Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) assists families with young children (newborn to 6) by addressing barriers that impact on their ability to reach optimal health. We partner with community coalitions to deliver programs that increase both adult and child health, develop problem-solving skills and social networks, and to engage in their communities.

Hamilton CAPC recognizes that communities have the ability to identify and respond to the needs of children and places a strong emphasis on partnerships and community capacity building. Hamilton CAPC provides the opportunity for residents of East Hamilton to play an active role in planning for their communities.
